Executive project Covered Swimming Pool Palamos - Calonge - Vall-Llobrega

The assignment consists in a preliminary study of a covered swimming pool for the municipalities of Palamos, Calonge, and Vall-llobrega. The plot where the pool is located is enclosed by the C-256, the Virgin of Núria Avenue and the Avenue de Catalunya, at Calonge. The plot has an irregular morphology, a trapezoidal shape, with an area of over 10,000 m2 of a substantially flat terrain. 120 parking spaces are placed in this area, surrounded by beautiful garden spaces. The western façade is the main entrance of the building which is also a meeting point. Once passed the access control a corridor leads you in to the different dressing rooms. From this areas you will arrive directly to the main pool of 25x12,5m. A secondary pool of 12,5x6mts is also considered and equipped with wellness activities such as sauna, steam baths and aquatic therapy. At the first floor you will find multipurpose rooms for the practice of indoor sports and at the basement the all the facilities for the technical equipments.
