Municipal Nursery School. Altafulla, Tarragona.
The Project is created by a set of spaces and individualized volumes; uncovered, semi-covered and covered spaces which are tight together around a glass patio.
On the ground floor are situated the six school rooms with their support spaces, administration area, reception and control area, main access and the open air activities spaces: gardens, open and semi-covered patios.
The main access is done though a metal and wood porch, which lead us to the central core or open glass patio. Adjacent to the main entrance are located the vertical circulations: main stair and elevator.
On the first floor are located the staff area, the kitchen and a living-dinning room which can be used as well as a common area. A direct connection to the kitchen is possible from the road through a steel and wood bride.
