In the Ilha do Crisógonowe propose a landscaped tour in the mangrove, which leads to viewpoint at the highest point in the city. The promenade is an elevated road, which allows the transit of small boats. The main design criteria is the integration with landscape: natural materials typical for the area, colors and textures inspired by the appearance of mangrove and discrete details of the items of furniture, lighting and signage.
The starting point to explore the island is an educational group of buildings consisting of a school and a kindergarten. This situation points to the possibility of extending the learning experience due to the proximity of mangrove involving students in the protection of nature.
