Sarria Square is a place full of memory references and symbolic meanings . The new equipment will fit into this context with a strong personality , adapting its geometry , its colors and textures to the built environment .

The new building recognizes and incorporates two main lines or addresses of the place : the axis of Avión Plus ultra Street , offering pedestrians a direct view of the north facade of the equipment , and the axis of the main street of Sarria , articulating square with the vital center of the neighborhood .
These two axes make a cut through the floor, also expressed volumetrically . The building is perceived from the square, the main street of Sarria and from the Paseo de la Bonanova, as an assembly of volumes that correspond to different uses .
The skin is a set of opaque white boxes and vertical slats of different colors inspired by the colors of the place. This allows the lighting and climate control and maximum flexibility of the operation of the building.
