Rehabilitation and Preliminary study for the program and activities of the Nun Cloister in Calonge, Girona.
The proposal is located within a plot where we can find a set of buildings of an ancient convent of nuns. The most interesting building of the ensemble is the Chapel.
Design includes 2 buildings that retain the existing façade and preserve the chapel, but with other singular use.
The main entrance is located on this façade. A promenade is planned as a union of two parallel streets in the old part of town.
Beside this "passage" treated as a covered patio, these new buildings with new interior spaces will form a new cultural facility with gastronomic, oenological spaces, an interpretive center, an auditorium, a gallery for exhibitions, tourism and shops.
A new multipurpose building, an icon of the typical gastronomic culture of this destination is created.
