Silicon Collet. Wine and Gastronomy Center - Sant Antoni de Calonge. Next Generation Project

Within the framework of the European Next Generation funds, the project is part of the tourism enhancement plan for traditional Calonge wine.
The architectural complex of El Collet is a 13th century monastery that is intended to be rehabilitated as a cultural center and activator of the local economy - promotion of products with denomination of origin from the area.

El Collet is a hill facing the sea, where in Roman times there was a villa that functioned as a farm, combining industrial and residential spaces in the same building with rooms spread around a large patio.
As of the 1st century, the agriculture of the villa was centered on the vineyard and enough wine was produced to export it.

We intend to adapt the 13th century monastery to the future, carrying out research projects in the center for the maintenance of rare vines, to help reproduce local grape spices. Silicon Collet is defined as a cultural, research and tourist interest center.
