Social housing buildings at Can Barrera, Teià. Draft project
The draft project proposes a set of 3-storey residential buildings for 60 protected housing units, as part of a large-scale project in the Can Barrera - Sant Berger Oest area, which currently separates the old town from Teià of the urbanization of Sant Berger, in the same municipality.
The urban planning of the area includes a new sports equipment, an area of single-family homes and a forest park that connects with the neighboring natural park.
The social housing units are located on the western edge of the area, towards the urban center. They have a common underground car park and a green parking area next to it. The whole is organized around a public space - civic square. For the best landscape integration and adaptation to the topography, the upper floors will be recessed and the roofs will be green (rooftop gardens).
