Conversion to residential use of a multi-use building. Segovia

The building object of the project is located in the historic center of Segovia and has two protected facades. It is an iconic construction from 1963, known as the Savings Bank Building, located between Cervantes, Bajada del Carmen and Avenida Acueducto streets, very close to the busiest point of the Roman aqueduct.

The mission of the project is to recover the residential use of the upper floors, according to current standards, also improving the overall accessibility of the building.
In the design, priority is given to the conservation of all the facades (not only the heritage protected ones) and the roof with dormer windows. 27 housing units with 1-3 bedrooms are proposed, with a flexible distribution (kitchens are open to the dining room, but they can be made independent).
