Preliminary Study for 60 apartments in Sant Antoni de Portmany, Ibiza
The plot of 9.920 m2, is located in front of the sea outside town center of Sant Antoni de Portmany and close to Cala Gracio.
The 60 apartments are arranged into ten blocks with one ground floor and 2 upper levels.
All blocks are identical; they consist in two apartments per floor. The 1st and 3rd floor's apartments have 3 rooms while the 2nd floor's apartments have 2.
A premise in the design was the importance of the construction of a generous terrace overlooking the sea. In addition, ground floor apartments have access to a garden area for private use. And the ones on the top floor, they have a private connection with the building's roof to use as a terrace.
A communal area with swimming pool, playground and sports fields is planned all along the front of the plot, with direct access to the beach.
Each house has a parking space in the surface of the plot.
Finally an existing pine forest separates the two rows of buildings used as a place of rest.
