Preliminary study for housing in Montecarlos, Cala Tarida. Eivissa

The most important factor that will determine the project and its design are the characteristics of the place.
It is a raised area above a cove on the island of Ibiza, Cala Tarida, and therefore with sea views. But also can be considered that the site is a forest.

The intention of the project is to maintain as much as possible the current state of the site and make sure that the user has the feeling of "living in a forest."

So the houses have 1 or 2 levels depending on the slope and they are grouped 2 by 2 or 3 by 3 by an organic platform which also provides barbecue areas and a swimming pool.

The houses will integrate three modules (bedroom-bathroom / kitchen / dining room) articulated so that the trees are arranged and piles on the ground trying to keep the current status of the site and enhance the essence of living in a forest.
In the interior of the modules every detail will be designed to keep in touch with the outside world while performing any daily activity.
