Life resort in Fornells de la Selva. Preliminary study
The preliminary study explores the possibility of implementing a unique facility, designed as an assisted residence for the elderly and at the same time as a resort, in a non-developable area of the municipality. Beyond the urban planning changes, the aim is to conceptualize the facility as a resort, as a village with residential modules scattered in the middle of nature, surrounded by trees and vineyards, with the existing construction at the center, where we will locate community facilities. The design exercise has as its principles prefabricated modular construction, landscape integration and a concept of organic growth.
