Competition. Racing Circuit Pere Ribes. Sant Pere de Ribes, Barcelona

The main concept of this project was born out from the memory of the place, from the different elements that belong to this major urban piece so evident in the landscape. The concept of speed is expressed into a dynamic play of water and vegetation which represent the limit of the contained space.

The project can be separated in three main areas:
The first one is the huge green belt which plays the role as container and as insulator from the external space. The second area has to do with the recuperation of the old circuit race, a limit transformed into a route generating different spaces playing with images as containers that empty themselves inside the territory and transform it. The third area is the internal space which forms a place, conceptually the representation of an "Eco-botanical Resort" including Spa and Health Centre facilities.
