Reform project of the Fain Estate in Arcos de la Frontera.
The total project area is the Fain Estate of 4.7 hectares, located right beside the golf club Arcos Garden, in Arcos de la Frontera, Province of Cádiz.
The beginning point is the reform of the existing farmhouse to which sides we add two new building. Towards the south side we place the business office work spaces, meeting rooms and a business corner, while to the north side there are the rooms with pool, gym and spa.
All buildings are related to outer space through a more private courtyard garden. Each garden is characterized by a different treatment of vegetation and flowerbeds. We project gardens areas related with different activities and uses. There is a direct relationship between interior and exterior space.
Some pergolas articulate the various buildings of the complex and help to link the central area of the farm Faim with the new enlargement.
In addition to this first extension, we propose in the nearby area of 3.9 ha, a residential complex of high quality of architecture and landscape. The 120 town houses which provided the Management Plan of the Villa Fain, was replaced by 50 detached houses. The intent is to assess the site and propose an intervention in harmony with the landscape and low environmental impact.
