Previous study of viability for the underground parking in Turó Parc. Barcelona

The commissioning of the project is the construction of parking beneath the surface of the Parc Turó and th organization of his surface. The park is located in Sarria-Sant Gervasi in Barcelona, has 2.88 Ha and has a long history beginning in 1912. We have proposed two alternatives for the project.
In the first case it has a rectangular shape, of approximate dimensions of 85x45 m and an occupation of 4000m2 built. We projected two underground levels with respectively 132 and 150 places for a total of 272, with a minimum dimension of 4,50 x2, 20m. The area chosen allows us a considerable freedom of action without affecting the surface vegetation or the original landscape design. We proposed a different scheme that those already there, with a set of circular movement that wants to be playful and recreate a maze.
In the second case it has a rectangular shape with approximate dimensions of 81x31m and an occupation of 2534m2 built. We projected three underground floors with respectively 74, 74 and 81 places for a total of 229, with a minimum dimension of 4,50 x2, 20m. In the original space there are two rows of magnolias that are the most genuine legacy of the initial draft of the park, so we have left intact the original surface, only moving two magnolias to make room for pedestrian access.
