Northwest Bahia Park. Vitoria, Brazil

The Northwest Bahia Park is born of adaptation and improvement of existing sports equipment, looking for a better integration in the mangrove landscape and spaces for sport and recreation in the middle of nature.
The project maintains the existing elements in place (access bridge, canal, sport zone) and re-designed for improved integration and the overall picture.
Other elements are added as: a promenade for walking / jogging / bike path, a central public space (plaza) which gives access to society and football field and to the visitor center, a symmetrical tiers (dual orientation), parking areas, bocce courts, fitness for seniors and playground.
The visitor center is located near the access. It is a one-story building, which contains: reception, auditorium, library, bar etc.
The result is an integrated intervention in nature, designed with spaces for all kinds of outdoor activities.
