Ideas project for the Catalunya square in Calonge, Girona.

Plaza Catalunya is located in Sant Antoni, a village of the Costa Brava and an emblematic tourist destination of the Catalan coast, and in particular in the intersection point of one of the vertical axes and two of the horizontal ones, making it an important point of connection. It also has direct access to the sea and the beach.
It is the sea plaza of the town.
The intention is to extend the plaza to the beach, where it takes possession of part of his space with possible new activities.
The intention is also to use vegetation to generate different areas for different uses according to the need of shade or sun, pavement or grass, a free zone of trees or a zone with the fragmentation given by their presence.
At the end, we propose that can be the right space to do various activities organized by the City Council or by private entities, as part of a system of open and public spaces in the municipality of Calonge.
