Competition. Levante Central Plaza. Viladecans, Barcelona, Spain

The Levante Central Plaza is characterized by overlapping natural and built elements. These existing elements, which are the orchards, woodlands and Can Sales Factory define a plot that will take as reference in the proposal, evoking the memory of the place..
The square will have two categories of uses: on the one hand, applications that concentrate large groups of people and noisy activities and on the other the family or neighborhood uses and activities less noisy.
A water deposit is located under the plaza with an independent structure. It consists of rails facing the lower area of the square and has an automatic cleaning system.
The vegetation zones of the square, which occupy 50% of its surface, are permeable and incorporate drainage elements, parts of urban sustainable drainage system.
