Països Catalans Square, Vall-llobrega. Detailed Execution Project
The purpose of the execution project is the new urbanization of Països Catalans Square in Vall-Llobrega.
The project creates a diagonal crosswalk from the north side (corner of Joaquim Ruyra street with Raval de Mar street) and the south side (Victor Català street and Rei Lotari street). The walk starts at the northern end, next to the sculpture dedicated to mothers who lost children in the war, and ends at the southern end where a place will be reserved for the possible installation of an oil press as a symbol of the agricultural history of the municipality.
The current esplanade intended for parking will reduce in surface area and in any case it will no longer be used for parking; instead, it will be used as a public open space, available for other activities.
Regarding the vegetation, the 40 existing trees will be respected; two of them will be moved to other points in the same square.
