Europa Plaza. Platja d'aro, Girona.

The project propose the redesigning of the surface parking around a commercial building after the construction of the underground parking.

A new plaza is created through a total new distribution of the car parking areas and the designing of the street furniture: illumination lamps, paving, street sings, new tree arrangement and rest semi covered spaces.

A new central axis creates a pedestrian space, which gives access to the building and works as a permanent civic space in summer and winter time.
A second axis, perpendicular to the first it is crowned by a wood "pergola" which connects the parking with the side streets, making easy the pedestrian flow through the square, separating it from the road circulations.
