Preliminary Study of a Residential Complex of 9 Homes in Llinars del Vallés. Spain
The object of the concept proposal and the preliminary study is the design of a set of 9 semi-detached single-family homes on a 2,491m2 plot located in a residential area of Llinars del Vallès.
As a first step, the terrain (topography, orientation, neighbors, and accesses), its built environment (landscape and character of the area) and the limitations of urban planning regulations are analyzed. The previous project presented by the client is also analyzed, looking to identify possible improvements.
The overall concept is to treat the homes as a whole, looking for those common elements that distinguish the development, which could be the volumetry, the swimming pools, the treatment of the gardens or some parking lots and storage rooms in the basement with common access.
The concept proposal includes different volumetric options, group distribution, swimming pools and gardens and architectural typology (program and interior distribution).
