Single-family house at Fornells de la Selva, Girona.

The project is in a land constituted by a forest of oaks and pines, presents a complex geometry formed by three volums in ground floor articulated by a central space and a fourth volume in 1st level that unit all the project, through a great show window to the south, protected by the forest of oaks. The objective was to fulfill a small surface program and to obtain an aspect of a much greater house.

The composition frames the figure of the house by a great sheet of cover that outlines and finishes off the vertical composition of the outer closings of wood. It was chosen to emphasize the weight of the ground floor with the use of the brick wall, as opposed to the lightness that had display the superior floor simply revoked and painted.
It is tried to respect the magnificent existing trees to the maximum to play single with the variation of the pavements.
