House in Ferran. Tarragona.

The project stands as a complete internal renewal of a country side house located in the town of La Riera de Gaia, next to the city of Tarragona, Catalunya.

The program split in two floors, has all the common areas on ground floor, putting together the kitchen, dinning room and the living room in a larger and wider space. On the second floor the two bedrooms are located together with one large bathroom and a small studio.

The search of mimesis between tradition and modernity establish the lines for the interior design. The use of elements of wood and steel, ceramic pavements and brick walls tries to integrate with the heavy original stone walls and the wood beams of the rehabilitated structure. The air of comfort and warmth is always tried to be kept in the entire house.
