Basic project for the design of 7 private houses in Bonanova district, Palma de Mallorca

The plot, with an area of 4.891sqm, is located next to the Bellver forest and overlooks the castle with the same name and Na Burguesa.

The projects plans a division into 7 different 500-700sqm plots, and the corresponding one-family house, each with a total built area of 250-275sqm. The access road is located in the middle of the housing complex. The houses have 4 bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, double garage. The living room, the dining room, the kitchen, a double room and the garage are located at the ground floor. At the upper floor we find 3 bedrooms and a terrace with solarium, jacuzzi and/or chill-out.

There is a different proposal for each plot, starting from the same basic elements and modules. The unique architectural solution of each house is born out of the encounter between the modules (and their particular disposal into the available space) and the transition spaces: galleries, porches, pergolas...

The main reference of the project is the typical Ibiza architecture, interpreted in a contemporary key: new materials, large openings, hybrid spaces. Colors: white, clear, natural tones; wood and the blue of the pool - contrast; green and earthy colors of the environment - integration into the landscape. Materials: stone (walls), wood (pergolas, scaffolds) glass (transparent handrails).
