The site of the project is a long strip of land of approximately 1.5 kms. of length per 8 metres of average width, situated between the bath area and the old promenade.
The program of the City Council includes all the beach services: public showers, lifeguards towers and lifeguard areas. The project is based in the reinterpretation of the concept of the classic garden, used here as the container of all those activities, some of them less compatible, traditionally, with the atmosphere of the garden. The disposition and combination of different vegetal species responds to the diversity of sensations in colour, height, texture and smell that we pretend to achieve.
