Preliminary Study for the "Port Vell" on the seafront of Palma de Mallorca. Spain
The proposal involves the regeneration area of Port Vell, part of the seafront of Palma de Mallorca.
The intervention intends to continue a ride that is currently interrupted by various factors, thus generating a new and direct relationship with the sea by extending crosswalks and distribution of public space, re giving priority to the visitor.
It also proposes a new underground parking for 350.
As a new singular element, a port control tower with a restaurant on top is proposed, inspired by traditional Mallorca headlights.and a panoramic big wheel that overviews the port.
