Special Urban Development Plan for the Sènia Riu Campsite in Sant Pere Pescador

The Sènia Riu Camping Site is located in Sant Pere Pescador, on the banks of the Fluvià River and to the east of the main town center of the municipality. It is a special environmental protection area that is part of the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park, the PEIN area and the Natura 2000 Network.
The purpose of the Special Plan is to organize and regulate the development of the campsite, establishing the land uses within the scope of the current facilities, in accordance with the determinations of the Local Comprehensive Plan of Sant Pere Pescador and the current urban and sectoral legislation, aiming to define the works and functions linked to the camping activity and complementary activities.
Its objectives are, in addition, facilitate the renovation of services aiming to improve the quality of the tourist offer, establish occupancy thresholds and places appropriate to the capacity of the territory and with a high level of tourist quality, and improve the landscape integration of the campsite.
