Working methods for the diagnosis and correction of the building pathologies of Didouche Mourad Street in Skikda, Algeria.

These buildings have a gallery with arcades on the ground floor of about 800 meters along Didouche Mourad Street, the main artery of the city. Buildings are related to the historical center, most of them with a considerable antiquity.

In some cases, they are in poor condition, having come to cause the collapse of some in recent years.

Currently, there are buildings with arches and domes supported by pillars.

The goal is to generate a document that outlines the different steps of the intervention and the historical building, the causes of the pathologies detected in preliminary studies, and once the diagnosis is made, establishing performance criteria, priorities and stages intervention.
