Historical Costal Road between Aiguablava Parador and Fornells

The object of the project is the design for the recovery of the historic path that linked the beaches of Aiguablava and Aigua Xelida, in the municipality of Begur. Continuity will be given to the coastal path, which had been lost in various sections due to the construction and urbanization of the coastal area as well as lack of use, the coastal path that borders the coast will be repaired to offer the pedestrian great views of the sea from the beautiful cliffs.

The intervention proposes different solutions adapted to each section of the road according to its current state, including the clearing and pruning of existing vegetation, the reparation of the road with the definition of the original layout, the construction of stairs, the conditioning of viewpoints, the construction of a mixed steel and wood walkway and the placement of orientation and informative signage useful for users.
