Landscape Integration Study for the Can Barrera - Sant Berger Oest Development Project in Teià

The development proposal for the Can Barrera - Sant Berger Oest sector, presented within the framework of the new Local Comprehensive Plan, is a unique landscape project that includes trails for enjoying the natural environment and measures to protect and enhance the forest and agricultural landscape.
The project envisions urbanizing the lower part of the sector, providing continuity to the established residential fabric and connecting both population centers. In the higher part, the forest will be preserved and a trail will be created for enjoying it, with rest areas and viewpoints.
The landscape design respects the topography of the site, adapting to existing slopes and gradients. Native vegetation has been considered a core element of the project, maintaining and strengthening local biodiversity and promoting a sustainable and resilient landscape. To enhance this integration between nature and public spaces, green filters of native vegetation will be implemented as transition zones between the different spaces, creating a visually attractive and relaxing environment.
The pedestrian paths connecting the center of Teià with Sant Berger, the cemetery area, and the natural park will allow visitors to enjoy the town's landscape: viewing points will be set up at points offering panoramic views of the center of Teià and the coast.
