Improvement proposal for the Sènia Bonavista campsite in Calella. Preliminary study.

Bonavista Campsite, featuring 160 camping pitches, is situated in a forest area with steep terrain on the Maresme coast. It has been in operation since 1966 and is also known as "Botànic" (Botanical), a name that reflects the site's character and landscape design.
The preliminary study analyzes the current state of the facilities, aiming to identify opportunities for improvement and elements that do not align with the overarching vision of a resort set within a botanical garden. It also seeks to address accessibility issues and improve internal circulation, which is challenging due to the topography.
As a starting point, a leisure area (featuring a pool with water features and a sun deck) is designed near the entrance, and a series of landscape improvements for the retaining walls—prioritizing the tallest ones—are proposed to reinforce the campsite's "botanical garden" concept.
