1st prize . Special Renewal Plan for the Ciudadela of Rosas, Girona
The Ciudadela as measurement of the city. The sea at the feet of the Ciudadela.
The project proposes to reconstruct both destroyed sides of the Ciudadela with two new buildings, one opened towards the city and the sea, containing bars, restaurants and galleries, and the other oriented towards the archaeological site, with a museum, a laboratory, and a hall room shared with the new equipment of the peace court.
The access to the monument is made by a fault located at the angle of the buildings, giving continuity to the marine promenade. The car circulation is extended and forms a limit towards the urban front.
