Main Square at Platja d'Aro, Girona

The limits of this main square include the axis that goes from the city council to the maritime promenade, the main square itself and the crossing streets of this plaza.

The rearrangement proposal establishes the recognition of the street Cinto Verdaguer as the end of the equipment and sea connexion axis, giving back the symbolic and civic character to the space of this main square.

The unification of the area is made mainly by a homogenous paving floor, changing it to a nobler pavement when it arrives at the city council, reinforcing its presence with the water mirror in front of its main facade.

The main relevance is giving to the pedestrian circulations and resting areas, restricting the car ways and the parking entrances only to the minimum space.
