1st prize competition l'Ametlla de Mar.
The proposal is conceived as a multi-public space; a plaza which contains all the functions of the centre and filters the irregular skyline of the surroundings. This is why we design a suspended porch over the plaza that will protect all the activities developed inside the centre.
The ground floor is assigned for the public activities: the music school, the radio station, the administrative offices and the formation rooms. On first floor is located the multi-purposed Auditorium and the City Hall, as well as the exhibition space. Finally at the second floor, we put the activities which have more contact with the open terraces like the Library and the Restaurant area.
