Masterplan for the Mediterranean Games 2017 Tarragona.
The proposal is based on the analysis of the place, understood as: the study of the present landscape, the study of the project's impact, and the estimated evolution of the whole intervention in a long term. The intention is to seek guidelines to ensure the integration of all elements of the development, for a better quality of space and overall consistency.
The overall concept of the proposal is to understand the whole as a landscape - sum of landscapes, based on an analysis of the current . It is structured in 8 areas with different characteristics:
1. The Avenue of the Games - central axis
2. Place the Mediterranean
3. Lamination Lake
4. The great Esplanade
5. The Mediterranean Garden
6. Secondary access - Axis 2
7. Rugby Field
8. Parking Area
